DigiCore, a wholly owned South African initiative, will be providing a state-of-the-art medical emergency vehicle monitoring system whereby the VOC will be able to track the progress of vehicles on the Cycle Tour Route, establishing exactly where they are through the use of a computerized grid positioning system. The system further enables the VOC to determine whether the vehicle is stationary or patrolling the route. “The Cycle Tour offers us a brilliant opportunity to test this system on a large and realistic scale,” said Bruce Richards, Marketing and Sales director of DigiCore.
